Flat-topped clusters of bright orange flowers can bloom from spring to fall.

Dark green pointed leaves.

Attracts butterflies (monarch), aphids, hummingbirds and bees.

Larval host to monarch and queens butterflies. 

Grows in well-drained sandy soils.
